The vaccination count in the US has reached 70% as desired and wished by President Joe Biden. People have received at least one shot of the covid vaccination.
This vaccination improvement has happened just a month later by the increase of count caused by the delta variant. The mask rules are tightened and, mandatory vaccinations have been ordered across the country.
Louisiana has ordered everyone to get their vaccination done, and also made it mandatory to wear a mask, at all indoor events, even if vaccinated. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said New York City airport and transit workers must get vaccinated or face weekly testing.
"All police officers, firefighters and municipal employees along with workers at schools, nursing homes, hospitals and jails should get vaccinated", said Denver’s mayor. Minnesota has also asked every student in public colleges and universities to wear masks irrespective of vaccination status.
The delta variant of the covid-19 is spreading rapidly and, the number of people admitted to Florida hospitals has jumped from 2,000 to 10,000 in just 27 days. "The present rate of people getting admitted is very much higher and faster compared to last summer," said Florida Hospital Association President Mary Mayhew.
