Spencer Elden: Baby on "Nevermind" Cover Sues 'Nirvana' For Sexual Exploitation.

Spencer Elden, who appeared on the Nevermind album cover as a baby, has sued Nirvana for sexual pornography.

The Nevermind album released in 1991 had a 4-month-old baby in a pool, appearing to swim after a dollar bill that's pierced with a fish hook.

Spencer Elden, now 30, has filed a lawsuit against Nirvana for intentionally distributing a naked photo of Elden as a baby and profiting from it.

Elden says that "He will suffer lifelong damage because of the band members and asks for $150,000 in damages from each of the defendants, which include members of the band, Kurt Cobain's estate, photographer Kirk Weddle, Universal Music, Geffen Records, Warner Records and MCA Music."

The photo of Elden was shot by Weddle, a friend of Elden's father. The lawsuit accuses Weddle of producing a "sexually graphic" photo of Elden.

The lawsuit also says that Elden's parents also never signed a release authorizing the use of the image.

The album has sold more than 30 million copies but, neither Elder nor his family has received any compensation.
