Spotify to soon launch a low-cost subscription tier.

According to a report from The Verge, Spotify is testing on a new low-cost subscription tier. This feature comes with ads but lets users choose the songs they want to listen to instead of shuffling the tracks.

The new plan Spotify Plus also doesn't restrict the number of musical tracks a person can skip in an hour. With Spotify's free plan, a user can skip only six songs in an hour and can choose their favorite track only from 15 selected playlists.

Spotify's premium, costing around $10 a month, lets users unlimited skips and ad-free service. Spotify didn't immediately respond to a request for comment but confirmed to The Verge that it's "conducting a test of an ad-supported subscription plan with a limited number of our users."

This feature is of no guarantee, but Spotify might launch premiums at various prices to attract user interests.
