Vaccination proof made mandatory in New York for fall indoor activities

Residence in New York City will require a mandatory vaccination certificate for all indoor activities. “If you want to participate in our society fully, it’s time to get vaccinated,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said during a press conference.

This program will be launched from August 6th and will be strictly enforced and followed from September 13th. So far, about 66% of adults are fully vaccinated in the city. “To so many people, this is going to be a life-saving act,” de Blasio said.

“It’s going to guarantee a much higher level of vaccination in the city, and that is the key to recovery in this city.” "This is the last chance and method to control the rapid spread of the delta-variant of the coronavirus", said the Mayor.
